Drying Bins

The Nut Machine Company (PTY) Ltd has developed a modular bulk drying bin system designed for efficiency, flexibility, and ease of use.

Pre-Manufactured & Easy to Assemble

Each bin is pre-manufactured and delivered to the customer in compact bulk packs. On site, the system can be quickly and easily assembled, reducing installation time and effort.

Ensure the bin is always installed on a level, solid concrete surface and positioned under a roof to prevent any particles or debris from entering the bin.

Modular & Expandable Design

Thanks to its modular design, the system can be expanded at any time. Additional panels can be assembled to the left or right side of an existing bin, allowing for future capacity growth without replacing the entire system.

Built to Your Requirements

We offer three standard drying bin sizes designed to meet your specific needs: 2-ton, 5-ton, and 10-ton.

Efficient Airflow & Discharge

The fan is installed in a robust door and mounted on one side of the bin panel. The opposite side features the nut outlet gate (NIS) for controlled and efficient discharge.

  • Flexible Heating Options
  • Where electricity is limited or unavailable, the bins can be heated using alternative heat sources, such as:
  • Boilers
  • Hot water kettles
  • Heat exchangers
  • Optional Add-Ons
  • Additional conveyors and walkways are available and can be quoted separately to suit your site layout and operational needs.

*Capacity of machines may vary due to variety, quality, moisture content, feeding option used to inlet nuts, debris processed with nuts and style of nuts cracked/processed.

*Pre-Check and clean all machinery and conveyors before use and at regular intervals and ensure regular maintenance.

*No machines are guaranteed if foreign particles are processed with the nuts i.e., stones, sticks, bolts, nuts etc. (It remains the customers responsibility to make sure the nuts are clean)
