The Nut Machine Company have developed a modular bulk drying bin system.
Being modular, these bins are pre-manufactured and can be transported in small bulk packs to the customer, where they are swiftly assembled.
Future extensions can be made on existing bin by just assembling extra panels to either the left or the right side.
The fan is installed into a robust door and is mounted on the one side of the panel.
On the opposite side is the outlet-gate for the nuts (NIS).
These bins can be ordered to suit various bin requirements ie. 2, 5, 10 Tons.
Each bin is manufactured and developed according to the customers requirements.
We have two options ENTRY LEVEL KIT or an FULL KIT.
ENTRY LEVEL KIT consist of:
- Galvanized panel sides
- Axial flow fan
- Easy let down system
- DOL starter box
FULL KIT consist of:
- Galvanized panel sides
- Axial flow fan
- Easy let down system
- Temperature and humidity probe
- Heater bank
- Operating panel
The bin can also be heated by alternative sources ie.
Boilers, hot water kettles & heat exchangers if electricity is not available.
Extra conveyors and walkways can be quoted separately.
Before starting the drying process test a sample of nuts to determine the current moisture percentage.
Daily testing of moisture is advised. If The Nut Machine Company Cracker range is used, recommended moisture is
less than 3% for optimum cracking outcome.
A moisture testing meter can be used to test the moisture in nuts and is also available at The Nut Machine Company.
